Mt. Sinus
by Jim Elliff

"Which is worse," said the doc,
"Mt. Sinai or Mt. Sinus?"
"The one stirs up the flesh,
the other brings rhinitis."

"The law has made me raw,
And caused me awful pain,
But when I blow my nose,
The law seems less a drain."

"Then up the mountain I must go,"
Said Doc without a strain.
"I'll carve my name in hidden caves
Just beneath the brain."

"If I'm that far you will not mind
An extra surgery.
Your peers request that I work in
A quick lobotomy."

Is this the meaning of the phrase
'To blow ones brains clear out?"
That part you seek I lost last night
When wrestling with my snout!
